How we handle personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. But data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites someone has viewed also count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection.
We have taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. Our security measures are continually revised and optimized in line with technological developments.
If you use a service on our website, your personal data will be transmitted to us. To ensure that these do not fall into the wrong hands, we encrypt them using the SSL process (Secure Socket Layer). The SSL process is currently the most common and secure data transmission process on the Internet.
This page contains links to third party websites or links to websites.
We would like to point out that these third party websites have their own privacy policies and we decline any liability or responsibility. If you follow third-party links, you do so at your own risk.
Check the privacy policies of the websites whose links you choose to follow before voluntarily providing any personal information to those websites.
When you click on an external link, data is transferred to the link destination, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, browser information, the URL from which you clicked the link and others .
It can happen that individual external links mean a data transfer abroad. This may make it possible for foreign third parties, authorities or secret services to receive connection data. Find out about this yourself or do not click on any external links.
How the SSL process works
The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) process protects data that a customer sends to a company's server over the Internet. SSL provides triple protection:
- Your entries to be transmitted are encrypted.
- It is ensured that the form is only sent back to the server from which it was opened.
- It is checked whether the data is complete and unchanged reach the respective recipient.
SSL is always used when you see a small (usually green) lock on your screen in the bottom left of the status bar of your browser.
